Etsy Finds

I like to look under the "vintage" category to see what good things I can find. One day it will be known to myself that I can sew. When that day comes, I will make dresses. Dresses like these:

I was amazed that the size of the dress is a 12 and translates to a 32-25-34 figure! Yipes! I must be a larger size than I thought! That's like a size 2 in today's world. See this size chart for yourself.

Here is an "EASY TO MAKE":

Neat little things

Ever visited the Etsy website? Its a slight obsession of mine. My wishlist keeps growing. For example, this adorable cupcake pincushion caught my eye today. Once I buy that, all I will need is to learn how to sew...

Wedding photographs!

I finally have a copy of our wedding photography and here are a few sneak peeks.

How to pull off a SWANKY wedding:

1. Invitations are limited.
2. Hold your ceremony at Greenville's Rock Quarry Garden during an early evening in September.
3. Keep your palate refined: We chose rich black with textures of white
4. Host your reception in a private dining room at High Cotton.
5. DON'T follow tradition unless you have good reason.
6. Commission a florist, quality is essential.
7. Hire the best photographer you know: John Barnett.

Pictures to come! In the meantime, here are my bridal portraits: http://www.jbarnettphotography.com/george/.
